Every does NOT have a report for Deductions, Withholdings, or Direct deposit.
These can be completed in two ways when migrating from Square.
- Onboarding Links (most efficient and timely)
- Manual Entry (manually enter each employee or use import templates)
Employee Demographics
- On the Main Menu on the left, go to Reports → Employee List
- Export, top right
Filters do not need to be adjusted to pull all staff for setup.
Workplace
- On the Main Menu on the left, go to Settings → Locations
- Take screenshot, this allows you to record as there is not a downloadable report.
Benefits
- If client has benefits setup you will be able to see the type of benefits but no reports to pull.
Historical Payrolls
- On the Main Menu on the left, Reports → Payroll Journal
- On the new screen under Payroll Journal you will see the months in grey box.
- Click on the Months
- Custom → select appropriate months for quarter
- Q1 (Jan - Mar)
- Q2 (Apr- Jun)
- Q3 (Jul - Sep)
- Q4 (Oct - Dec)
- Apply
- Export, top right
- Report will break down per pay period.
Company Tax Information
- On the Main Menu on the left, Settings → Company Information
- This will only show you the Legal Company name and FEIN.

Tax Returns
- On the Main Menu on the left, Settings → Docs & statements
- Quarterly Tax Forms
- New box will populate → Download appropriate quarters
- If starting in Q1, pull the prior quarter's return (Q3 or Q4) to confirm tax information.
- If starting mid-year, pull every closed quarters return in the current year.
Obtaining closed quarter(s) tax filings is required and will allow you to tie out each quarter to ensure balancing with the transfer of historical data.
Tax documents serve dual purpose for setup:
- Allows you to tie out closed quarters in the current year when importing the historical data.
- Provides required information to complete the Tax Parameters.
