Tax Filing Failure Reasons
Identify and resolve tax filing blockers to ensure successful submissions.
When a tax filing is blocked or fails, Check provides a blocked reason code with additional information about what is preventing the filing from moving forward. These reasons are designed to be surfaced to employers or partners so they can understand what is blocking progress and, when applicable, take action or contact Check support.
Below, you will find descriptions to better understand the possible blocked reason categories, as well as recommended employer guidance for resolving each type of filing issue.
