Celebrate 99% filing completion, enable self‑serve address updates, and explore new help resources.

Q1 Filing Recap

Q1 filing is wrapping up this week and we’re excited to share that we've completed 99% of company filings. We appreciate your partnership and collaboration to make this filing period a success.

There are two subsets of filings which are waiting on confirmation of acceptance from agencies. They were submitted on time, and the submitted status will be updated upon confirmation.

  • GA SUI: We are waiting on the agency's acknowledgement file to confirm per-company outcomes. We expect these to be confirmed by end of next week.
  • Paper filings: These will move from submitted to filed once they are delivered to the agency.

Self-Serve Business Address Changes

Your customers can now update their company address at any time — no support ticket needed. This address is used for things like W2 and 1099 form generation, paper checks, and compliance filings and can now be changed via two paths:

  1. API: Send a PATCH /companies/{id} request with updated address fields
  1. Console: Navigate to the company info tab and edit the address directly

These changes are live in production today.

Prior Provider Documentation Now Available in Help Center

We’ve published a new set of Help Center articles on support for migrating employers from prior payroll providers.

These resources centralize key guidance on how to interpret, map, and onboard historical payroll data from legacy systems into Check. This should make transitions smoother and reduce back-and-forth during implementation.

The new articles cover common prior provider scenarios, data expectations, and best practices for ensuring accurate setups.

You can explore the full set of articles in the Help Center.

New Webinar Topic: Credit Limits Next Week

Next Wednesday, we’ll be hosting a webinar covering credit limits. Join Jim Kohl and Kristen Swaney to learn more about why credit limits exist, what our standard limits are, and how upgrades work.
